      it's not the race content, since ingroup talks about race and sex all the time. the norm that's being violated is insisting you're right and everyone else's reaction is due to trauma add a little humility to your approach

      Is it interesting? "People are especially sensitive to racial purity nonsense right now" doesn't seem like it requires much of a deep psychological explanation given the current political climate.

          yeah, i suspect that many white people have an anxiety that all the race stuff isn’t actually ok under the surface. so they need to furiously repress any evidence to the contrary.
