I've been watching Hellsing recently and granted I'm not that familiar with anime but it just seems incredibly strange. Some of this is because it's even more "Is this what you actually think Europeans are like??" than usual but I'm also just a bit confused what it's trying to do
They're really into the thing where people randomly use the words in their native language that are literally the first words they would have learned when learning English.
But I don't know if that's an artefact of the dubbing choics or the original.
This sure is a list of places that exist in London. Also I know this guy is a Nazi, but he appears to be drinking champagne out of a martini glass, and some things are just going too far.
I know I'm supposed to be just enjoying this as vampires vs Nazis but I'm just far too confused by the aesthetic choices of this show.
