A thing I quite like in this corner of Twitter and hate when it happens in other corners of Twitter is people just ending up having a long conversation in the mentions of some tweet accumulating more people over time.

I'm not quite sure why it's different here. Maybe because it's more likely to feel like a friendly conversation with people you know than an argument with strangers.

We all read the whole thread before jumping in to reply, if we even end up feeling we have something worthwhile to reply, and there feels like an opening to say it.
