but also just by sheer volume of interaction you insert yourself into the social graph, and then people follow you just because you're such a prominent node in the graph that they feel they it'd be weird *not* to follow you, and then you get more interaction and things get better

also, for better experience: there are very few 10k+ accounts that are worth following, let alone interacting with, I mostly wouldn't bother the most fun accounts to spend time with you'll typically find when they're around a few hundred followers, some might shoot up to 1–2k

Yeah. Part of why I started this alt was that I could feel the brand seeping in around the edges on main. I'm still a person on main, but I'm a person with a lot of the rough edges filed off.
