i dunno, i think i do believe in natural aptitudes. it took me no effort to get good at cooking and baking, but despite a lot of effort i’m still a horrible gardener
Yeah, it's definitely *possible*, it's just not the norm. I don't think "natural talent" is a useful way of looking at it though. Normally you're just trying to do something in a way that doesn't work for you, or have failed to figure out some intuitive leap.

yeah, i guess i just don't even know how to describe my experience with gardening. i'm usually good at figuring out how to do something by looking it up, but gardening is the first time the sheer amount of information has simply felt overwhelming
