I'm talking about things you want to do. If you don't want to something why are you even trying?

It's actually quite hard to stay mediocre at things you want to do? Requires almost entirely dissociating from the experience in order to achieve that level of failing to learn from it.

That's the big question of our generation isn't it? Quit your dead end 40h/week dead end job because it's killing your motivation to dedicate yourself to what you actually wanna do but it's also what pays rent and cravings derived from being in such a scenario?

I'd rather leave everything behind than have this false sense of security which only drains your own personality. But not everyone is the same. Maybe you do have all the time and funding to enhance all the abilities you wish you had, then decide not to pursue it any longer.

On the other hand, maybe your only option is to believe you can be better at what you believe is right for you. And never quit. You only get this kind of vision when you're forced out of your comfort zone and start wondering why keep moving along amidst all the chaos that's left.

I honestly can't tell if we actually disagree about anything here.
