I'll grant I hang with an odd crowd but my experience is absolutely the opposite. Your 30s are when you acquire the necessary chill to do all the really fun stuff without fucking it up.
i think many people are happier in their 30s than teens/20s, but that seem to come at the cost of emotional/intellectual intensity/curiousity?Well, chill isn't quite right. Some combination of chill and competence. What @m_ashcroft said about being a more complete human being is pretty close to what I mean.

yeah being less of an idiot there are a lot of cool things that I could've done with my exgf (I was with her through ages 22–29) traveling, parties, closer socializing with friends, creating things together, adventure I didn't because I was a fucking lazy narrowminded idiot

not gonna make that mistake in my next relationship(s) I really feel like I can see much better what would be fun, and I'm much more likely to try things to see *if* I'll find them fun I have way better values, and I'll have better yet in the future better = more fully living

one thing is older ppl are probably less likely to be willing to jump through hoops on command? so a narrow slice of an older person is less likely to happen to portray interestingness also have existing networks so dont feel need to constantly elevator pitch themselves
