I was 15. It was my second night swing dancing in a social setting with friends: I'd taken classes through my high school, but this was a public dance. I'd asked someone to dance, mid-40s/f. A blues song came on, and she was almost grinding against me. Didn't know how to say no.
It kept me off blues dancing for years, but I got over it eventually. It was not a fun time. I was uncomfortable and trying to dance looser and she was pressing herself against me, and nobody had taught me what to do in that situation.
