I had more mixed feelings about it at the time and I'm not sure I can honestly say it's a good book but reading "cPTSD: from surviving to thriving" earlier this year was genuinely life changing and helped me lay a foundation that I think has dramatically improved my life.

I keep trying to write a follow up tweet explaining why and I'm not sure I can. There are some pretty useful specific take homes but it feels like they don't really capture it.

I think it's partly that the benefits I got out of it aren't strictly things that were in the book, the book just provided certain basic tools that I could combine with others and use to very good effect in my life.
