I agree. There are many contexts in which sending your partner to an actual therapist is a good call. (There are also many contexts in which sending your partner to an actual sex worker is a good call, but that's a less popular opinion)

But I think a lot of what people mean when they say "free therapist" is just "talking about feelings". Therapists aren't just for a crisis.

Yeah being emotionally available is hugely important. In the low key scenario, I don’t think I have any disagreement here. I am also inclined to agree about the validity of sex workers as a solution to certain relationship problems.
