There are a lot of people here talking about how crying is good and whatever. My problem is different. I could cry a lot and regarded it as a good thing. Felt excellent afterwards. Then in 2016 I stopped being able to. Now when I cry it's very subdued. I want to cry again.

I find journaling very helpful. Would you find it useful to write down a big list of everything that went wrong in 2016 and see which bits have the strongest emotional resonance?
