It is just fascinating how much discourse that comes out of the tech sector boils down to "Why are men doing so much free labour? The fact that you are not demanding more free labour from women shows that you are sexist."

I mean nobody is saying literally that, but tech has a whole bunch of ridiculously exploitative cultural institutions (FOSS, the conference speaking circuit) that are clearly not remotely worth it to their participants and the complaint about them is... they're not diverse enough

If I really wanted to be cancelled I'd start a movement demanding the end of the unfair exploitation of men by the tech industry, but I'll let an insider take the flak instead.
