I tend to fantasise about fairly abstracted fictional characters who were created explicitly by me for my fantasies. Occasionally fantasise about celebrities. Don't find it too weird, but mostly not that into it. Same with e.g. a stranger seen in passing.
The following would both feel pretty creepy to me: 1. A close friend who is objectively very attractive but I have no sexual relationship with or intention of forming one. 2. Someone I see casually in a professional context on an ongoing basis and am friendly with

interesting, fantasies only do it for me with real people i know it feels nice, we're all having fantasies about each other, feels pretty natural it's hard to imagine that someone would be appaled that i fantasize about them here and there

Hmm. I think knowing something fantasised about me would be complicated for me and depend a lot on the nature of the fantasies and the person in question.
