This seems basically true but also I think (C) and (D) are incompatible, because a number of the beneficial effects come from the totalising nature of traditional gender roles. You can balance the costs but not avoid them.

Yeah I mean at an individual level not conforming to society's gender bullshit is great and I highly recommend it, but gender isn't primarily a social technology for individual use.
