Where I live there's a really large overlap between the sex party scene and the poly scene but I am nevertheless SLAIN by how good a take "Poly is emotional labour as pastime" is.

Thanks! Momentarily taking off my shitposting hat: There’s a lot of overlap in my experience, too. I find them complementary —orgies are more interesting with emotional connection and vice versa. Framing them as orthogonal activities was in large part a joke.
