How do you deal with days where you're just feeling really sad and anxious for apparently no good reason? I'm planning to medicate with hugs but I'd like better tools for debugging this.

Noticing the quality of the breath, and the thoughts, allow you to correlate specific anxieties to their effects. If you find something that makes you shallow-breathe, you found what makes you tense your muscles which spasm into knots
