So here's a terrible plan that I'm finding oddly compelling. Posit: 1. I am actually very good at dealing with specific anxieties. 2. This doesn't work now because this anxiety is undirected. Therefore: 3. I should try to make myself anxious about something specific.

It seems like a lot of this was "just" muscle tension and attacking the tension with a foam roller seems to have helped. Not solved it, but helped.

I took everyone's advice and went for a walk but it was... longer than I intended. Now I am too exhausted to be anxious so I guess that works.

Going for a walk seems to help a really surprising amount for me?? I was shocked tbh

I tend to self medicate with some deep breathing exercises in a quiet room. It always makes me feel a bit better, and sometimes it helps the reason for the mood bubble up into consciousness

just kind of be like i guess that's it for today then and sleep it off later. trying to "fix it" tends to make it worse
-
I think I'd be fine with not fixing it if I understood it, but the anxiety doesn't really seem to be *about* anything.

I go on a screed against VCs and it always made me feel better.
