She has said that some of her best friends are trans (paraphrasing a bit), so I did wonder when I read this whether "some of my best friends are serial killers" was coming next...
Ah well you see this book is not about trans people it's about a man in a dress and I'm sure she is shocked, shocked I say, to think that anyone might insinuate that there was some message about trans women intended just because she had explicitly said such messages...
I've not actually seen the official blurb / details of the book, so it'll be interesting to see how much she's tried to indirectly dog whistle vs throw plausible deniability out the window.
I must admit I've probably already exhausted how much I care about this book with these tweets so I'll probably never know.
