They should put me in charge so I can squash all disagreement with my progressive opinions under my jackbooted heel.
Less cheaty variant: Democracy as currently pictured basically doesn't work. Although consent of the governed is important, the fact that you are governed does not imply competence to govern, and most people are not able or willing to put in the effort to be trustworthy voters.
