I think it's the result of slightly disordered eating over the last month (nothing worrying, just slightly odd eating habits and erratic meals) but currently some clothing that hasn't fit in a while fits again and I can't help but be pleased by that.

Sometimes you lose weight as a result of careful dieting and exercise. Sometimes you lose it in the sense of "Huh, where did I put that thing??" I have no idea where that 1kg went in the last two days.

Yeah it mostly is, it's just weird what does and doesn't cause shifts - my morning weight had been stable to within like 100g over the last week and then suddenly shot down since I last measured on Saturday

right, yeah, a tad weird. idk, weight is weird. it doesn't seem to entirely correlate for me with my eating habits, and only somewhat with stress levels.

The thing I most notice is that I have a stable weight when I'm eating a moderate amount of simple carbs (rice and potatoes mostly) and a stable weight when I'm eating low carb (but still with plenty of fruit) and the latter is nearly 5kg lower than the former.

Although the last time I reintroduced carbs my weight seems to have stabilised at about 2kg lower than I would have thought of as my stable weight while eating carbs, which is nice.
