Everyone is wrong about mansplaining and it's very annoying. Mansplaining is a failure to negotiate a common conversation protocol, resulting in an annoying mismatch. This can be due to sexism but it isn't necessarily so.

I think it really is! The claim is that men should adopt feminine conversation modes in the name of accessibility. If they find those modes difficult, this is the opposite of accessible for them.

As a disabled person let me explain to you that accessibility often has a cost. We still do it, because we value including people.

I'm entirely clear that accessibility has a cost, and I'm afraid I don't think it's reasonable to insist people are obliged to pay those costs under all circumstances where it would be helpful to do so.
