I don’t understand the trend of male-identifying people using obviously not-them female avatars of either IRL women or “this person does not exist” style faces. Is this commentary about the internet? An anxious hedge against mobs? They just like simps? What’s the logic?

The goal between the slightly obfuscated gender of this account was always that I think people (at least people whose opinions I care about) are more likely to give time to some of my takes rather than jump to the worst interpretation if I'm not obviously a guy
