It's amazing how many ironic 4chan memes go mainstream, becoming normie culture, thus pressuring 4chan to further extremes to countersignal
"normie" is really the wrong word for the concept. The problem isn't that they're norm*ies*, it's that they're norm*ers*. In the problematic context it's actually you who is the normee.
