Honestly I try to avoid doing anything that comes across as trying to "win" in these conversations. This sort of thing too easily comes off as point scoring. I just try to explain problems and see who will have an open and honest conversation about it and avoid those who won't.
This is the correct approach, unfortunately I have a combative streak and disgust of hypocrisy that ensnares me sometimes. And I love a good deadpan trolling.
