I kinda think the usefulness of this account being vaguely ungendered has run its course, so I guess I'll out myself as a man. I'm sure few to none of you are surprised.

later in the thread it appears you have carefully thought out your own gender identity and performance, which matches with my previous observations that gender conforming cis ppl generally don't think about feminism with this much nuance
Yeah, I'm a bisexual cis man, but the cis bit took some checking and the people I hang out with skew heavily queer, and also heavily towards women. I also tend to respond to confusion by reading so when people told me to educate myself I read a tonne of feminist literature.

I've also just been doing this for a while I guess. Go back a decade and my feminism related takes were much less nuanced.

that's definitely something I don't keep in mind enough, I live a very age siloed life (just got out of college) which massively skews my perception of how people generally are
