I kinda think the usefulness of this account being vaguely ungendered has run its course, so I guess I'll out myself as a man. I'm sure few to none of you are surprised.

Part of why I'm outing myself is that a lot of the stuff that didn't feel safe to say on main fits into a broad category of "Feminism is usually right about the experiences of women and often wrong about the experiences of men" and that felt safer to tweet this way, but...

... I've generally been pleasantly surprised at how well that's been received, and it's actually better as own voices because then I can ground it in my own lived experience a bit better.

Also I am pleasantly surprised that some people are surprised. I think in general I will probably keep the tone and style of this account about the same, I just might bring up the fact that I'm actually a man where it's relevant.
