I will not dunk, so I must subtweet: a certain local internet public intellectual complaining about public intellectuals writing very self-impressed articles about trivial thoughts is *very* funny given his body of work.

I like some of his work a lot, but his house style is literally "This needs to be half as long, a tenth as impressed with itself, and someone needs to take away your thesaurus and not let you have it back until you've written a thousand Simple English Wikipedia articles".
