Don't get me wrong, I can think of plenty of fun and interesting ways to spend lots of money, but they're not really spending it on or for me.

I'd definitely pay people to do more things for me at the billionaire level. e.g. I'd obviously have a cleaner and an accountant at much lower income levels than that, but I'd probably have a PA as a billionaire. Not sure what else beyond that. Don't really want a chef.

Oh! Personal shopper and various adjacent roles - basically a beauty consultant I guess. I'd love to dress and present better but there's a lot of expertise I lack here and it's not something I want to invest vast amounts of time in acquiring the skillset for.

i think this is the right answer, really rich people have people to curate exorbitant experiences for them, its actually work to do it yourself

Yeah, although I'm not sure what other exorbitant experiences I'd want to have people curate for me.

Honestly holds no appeal. I'd definitely hire some catering for smaller less themed parties, but throwing a grand themed party sounds actively unpleasant.

i guess the appeal to me would be like going to a music festival that was catered to my exactly aesthetic sensibilities, like i wouldn't want to play the role of host or be the center of attention

I mostly don't like festivals and large parties though. Quite like hosting small ones, but anything where there's lots of people I don't know is at best vaguely unpleasant.
