me, noticing my bagel isnt QUITE toasted enough but too tired to do the whole "plug the toaster into the tight outlet again, re-toast" routine: life is suffering

no apparently it's a fire hazard or something?? both ppl i have lived with recently only plug the toaster in when it's in use, idk

nor I until recently. I think it's one of those vestigial practices from when the appliance really was some kind of firetrap. modern toasters have TONS of failsafes.
