I don't really understand why everyone doesn't grind problem solving skills constantly. It feels like almost everyone gets to a certain (often quite low) skill level in what is basically a cheat code for life with unbounded upwards growth and then goes "welp, that's good enough"

So, a lawyer friend of mine is a good example. If she bills based off of looking through books as opposed to searching a pdf, she makes more money. I know a person who owns property who wants more housing but will vote down housing expansion to protect his interests.
