I think this is mostly not true, and there's a lot of culture and learned skill of aesthetic appreciation in attraction (I'm somewhat agnostic as to how much if any inherentness there is, but it's definitely not all of it)

This is, like, canonically not true. We've got ~gestures at literally the entirety of world history of fashion and beauty ideals~ levels of evidence for the non-universality of attractiveness.
