The hotness bonus isn't lesser for guys, it's different. Being hot as a guy is a force amplifier - everything you do is a bit easier and people will treat you as more competent than you are - while being a hot girl lets you get away with things that others would be punished for.

I mean having power gets you all sorts of bonuses, so I'm not sure that's strong evidence. I think in general hot girls will get perceived as having "better personality" (friendliness etc.) but often their competence is underestimated if anything.
