The hotness bonus isn't lesser for guys, it's different. Being hot as a guy is a force amplifier - everything you do is a bit easier and people will treat you as more competent than you are - while being a hot girl lets you get away with things that others would be punished for.

I think people notice the hot guy bonus less because everything it buys you is stuff you could in theory have got without the bonus, and also because the bonus applies so people think you deserve it.
While hot girl bonus is a bit more obvious because other people can go "WTF I would never have got away with saying that??"
