In light of this I can't help but wonder about the phenomenology of all y'all nerds on here who pour out thousands of highly-theorised words about how being smart is bad, and it's better to be dumb and embodied.

if this seems like nonsense, consider that change in organisms happens through growth, so it starts from exactly where you are and proceeds organically, usually slowly, in the direction of the desired result. “polymorph self” doesn’t exist.
