Huh, for me I consider anything involving words as verbal thinking
How do you define the difference between verbal and non verbal thinking

Hmm this doesn't feel that different from verbal thinking to me. There's a kind of cluster where speaking, verbal thinking, writing, and reading are all kinda expressions of the same experience with different aspects highlighted and different external manifestations.

It doesn't exactly sound bonkers I just still don't understand how our experience differs. I don't usually know what I'm going to right in advance of writing it either - there's maybe a word or two of lookahead on a phone because of how slow it is but no more than that.

Hmm plausible. I just don't still quite get it because the internal experience of writing and thinking is not that different for me.

Yes, writing is the same as speaking for me too, but that's also what verbal thinking is like isn't it?
