Is it the coke or the caffeine that is concerning? Could you cut down the coke a bit and take a caffeine pill for the equivalent amount of caffeine?
Also 3L of coke is a large amount of caffeine but it's not a *ridiculous* amount of caffeine. It's like two large coffees.

I often take caffeine pills with me on trips to make sure that I can reliably maintain the addiction without having to rely on shitty local coffee.
