but for service workers...retail, food, grocery...no such luck now, if there were maybe some way for the market to adjust and compensate those working from home less, and those still working on-site a lot more...that would be fair

@HOUBizJournal was suggesting should wait awhile before going back to "crowded offices." Meanwhile those in service & retail (more likely without health care) will still be expected to work daily. And/or wait for weekly schedules to be published. -

Service workers like retail, food, grocery can't do that. Many people LOVE to meet in person. BUT much less crowded roads, trains, and buses and shorter, smoother commute would also ease them. Rents in downtown would get cheaper. This solve so many problems in big cities.
