Covid happened and ruined the fun and enjoyment we had in the game paired with objectively boring or unwanted dlc fighters and little to no updates to the game for the past 6 months. This all paired with shitty netcode has resulted in the smash scene dying

Online is not good in terms of doing tournaments, and people forgot what it felt like having fun with the game as a party game. I dont have a lot of friends to play with much of now in the light of just having fun with the game. Makes me remember my childhood.

And in all honesty, that aspect of smash is what i miss the most.
