I’m not a pilot. But I should say that there are very few pilots, now or then, with the skill to get out of that.

Why would someone volunteer to risk their lives for a film? Especially when this particular bit is already very well documented. If it REALLY needs to be filmed, they could likely fly an unmanned version, or do it all with an F-104 in front of a green screen.
