Dad arrived in Vietnam 50 years ago as FE on C-130A. 200+ combat missions over almost 4 years, 50 over The Trail on Blind Bat. DFC. 'Enthusiastic, disciplined & dedicated military man of the highest order,' pilot who flew with him said. BTW, he was CC on NASA B-52 '59-60.
