When the N, Korean defected w/ MiG 15, Tom Collins flew it & I flew the F-86. I waxed his fanny. We switched airplanes. I again waxed his fanny proving pilot has a lot to do w/ success, often more than type airplane #MiG15, #F86, #NorthKorea #SouthKorea #KoreanPeninsula

Our F-86 had a procedure to recover from a spin. The MiG would have to go 3 rotations and punch out. And chop your knees off if you didn’t keep them tucked. You can do the math.
