Have you counted how many bases and airfields you knew that are now completely gone? (I'm guessing they're beyond counting, but just wondering. Seems we have too few, and the remaining ones ought to be saved.)
No. Too bad Leiston wasn't saved. Pieces were but Brits are chipping away at it.

Sir, old airfields are ripe for housing here. It’s a real shame. Not one single brick remains of historic places like RAF Burtonwood either. May I ask, have you returned to England in recent years?
