      Hello General Yeager, I spoke briefly with Edwin this evening and,( because it was late) said he would get back to me in a day or so with specifics. He did say it was as a pilot with the 17th Air Force in the 60's when you were Vice Commander. I'll let you know.

      Hello again General Yeager! Edwin said that you were Commander at Ramstein AFB, and he was with the 36th Air Force in Bittburg at the time. I hope this is right?

          I think it was in the mid 60s when he was Commander of USAF Fighter Wing.
