LOL! Well, I just remember one of the Wright Brothers in front of a big commercial jet. But you're right, obviously--and Wilbur died even EARLIER. So we DO have a mystery--since '48 is before the first commercial jet entered service!

Maybe they superimposed film of him discussing EARLIER aviation advances, over an IMAGE of a 747. This was in the early '80s, so that would have been possible--with a decent budget--and this was a government film. Thanks for the correction, Sir!
