  General, what was your overall impression of the F-104 platform (your egress from the NF-104 is a small sample)? USAF wasn't a fan but our NATO allies certainly seemed keen. I have always thought Kelly Johnson had something brilliant in the Starfighter (provided within envelope).

  I'm still always going back to the Bell inertial coupling incident you last described. How that bird didn't turn into dust, and leave you as a passenger watching pieces fly by is just astounding. Obviously very glad it turned out the way it did, General.
