My brother has worked under both British and Canadian privatised ATC. Depends on exactly how privatisation is implemented and run.
In the UK, the privatized ATC system got into deep financial trouble, & had to be bailed out by the gov't (read, "taxpayers")

My biggest concern is lack of oversight. CAAFAA rely too much on trust which works better on gov ops than private companies
