Sometimes I wonder why you risked your life for that one.. but it was your duty.. Did your group ever give you advise on such situations? Was it your discretion, or were you expected to dive on that fortified airfield? It was a rich target, but what made you do that?

I love this man, true warrior. “Unsportsmanlike but what the hell”. It was war, he did his duty and saved countless others from an advantage the nazis had with that jet. Gen. Yeager will always be a hero!
