I know the movie "The Right Stuff" played it fast and loose with many facts. But I had a feeling that part was true. Beyond that... I have no words.

I related a story fromnyour biography to friends of mine years ago (my goddaughter had a gotten a children's book of famous women, and Pancho Barnes was in it - they left out some her businesses for some reason) about when banned a guy from her golf course. Still makes me laugh.

Watched "The Right Stuff" in late 80s at the US Consulate in Karachi An year later read the book "Yeager". It was fascinating to read after watching the movie Thank you for the book Was in Bay Area CA in 2007 but what a shame couldn't meet you.. You're a hero Inspiration !
