  It is a very enjoyable thing to celebrate the historic test flights of the the Bell X-1 each year.. with the man himself. Read "Yeager", then read "The Right Stuff" by Tom Wolfe, then watch the special DVD edition of the movie, "The Right Stuff" to get the full effect..
