How different were those 361 planes from one another, General? How steep was your learning curve for those 361 planes? In the movie Independence Day, a Vietnam pilot goes to crop dusting and then to F18s to fight aliens. Seemed like a stretch.
From prop planes to jet planes to rocket planes - I grew up with airplanes so there isn't much truly new for me. Each airplane has its quirks and limitations though
